This website is operated by Homestead Flowers. We reserve the right to alter these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. It is your responsibility to review these terms each time you visit the website or when you order flowers from us through any channel.

1. About Homestead Flowers
Homestead Flowers is a small British flower farm based in Surrey, specialising in seasonal, sustainably grown flowers. Due to the natural and seasonal nature of flowers, variations in colour, size, and variety are normal and not considered defects.

2. Orders & Payment
- Orders can be placed via our website, email, phone or invoice.
- Full payment is required at the time of ordering unless otherwise agreed (e.g. subscriptions or weddings).
- All prices are in GBP.
- We reserve the right to cancel or refuse an order due to availability, pricing errors, or unforeseen circumstances. If this happens, a full refund will be issued.
3. Delivery & Collection
Local Delivery
- We hand-deliver within Guildford and its surrounding areas, including Wood Street Village, Worplesdon, Normandy, Ash, Merrow, and Burpham.
- Unless specified delivery is within 48 hours of ordering, if we are unable to fulfil this we will contact you for as soon as possible.
- If there is no answer, flowers will be left in a jam jar of water, in the shadiest most sheltered spot we can find. Sadly we are not responsible for the conditions of the flowers after delivery.
Collection
- Free collection is available from our field (GU3 3EX) by appointment.
- Orders must be collected during the agreed timeslot. Uncollected perishable flowers may not be refundable.
4. Fresh / Perishable Flowers
- British grown flowers vary naturally in their longevity, some stems may be delivered in bud, whilst others may be in full flower, and individual varieties may fade at different rates. This variation is a characteristic of British-grown flowers.
- If your flowers arrive damaged, incorrect, or significantly below expectations, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery or collection with photos.
- We may offer a replacement, partial refund, or credit note at our discretion.
- Change-of-mind refunds are not available for perishable flowers.
5. Dried Flowers
- Dried bouquets, wreaths, and arrangements are non-perishable.
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery/collection if items arrive damaged or incorrect.
- We will offer a replacement or refund at our discretion.
- Minor natural variations are part of the charm of dried flowers and are not considered defects.
6. Flower Subscriptions
- Subscriptions are seasonal and subject to availability.
- The first delivery date can be chosen by the customer, then all subsequent deliveries will be on a Friday.
- You may skip a week at no extra cost with at least 72 hours’ notice.
- In November and December, when fresh flowers may be lacking, they might be replaced with a Christmas wreath or dried bouquet. Please contact us to discuss further.
- If you cancel mid-season, a partial refund will be issued for undelivered weeks only, calculated at the time of cancellation.

Cancellations
- Deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances.
- If you postpone your wedding, your deposit will be held for the new date (subject to availability).
- If you cancel your wedding, the following payment scale applies:
- 9+ months before event: Booking fee retained, no further payment required
- 6–8 months before event: Booking fee retained + £50 admin fee
- 1–5 months before event: Booking fee retained + 50% of final estimated invoice
- Less than 1 month: Deposit retained + full amount payable
Quotes & Final Payment
- Final invoice issued 3-4 weeks before the event and must be paid in full at that time.
- If payment is not received in full, the order will not be fulfilled.
8. Hire Items (Vases, Buckets, Crates, Urns)
- Hire items must be returned the following week, cleaned and in good condition.
- Cleaning fees may apply if items are returned dirty.
- Breakages or losses must be paid for, including replacement and delivery costs, plus a £10 administration fee.
9. Refunds
- Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within a reasonable processing period.
- If you have not received a refund, please check with your bank or card provider first, then contact us at [email protected].
- These terms do not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
10. Health & Safety
- Some flowers and foliage can be toxic or cause allergic reactions. Handle with care and wash hands after handling.
- Keep flowers away from children and pets.
- Pinning buttonholes and corsages is done at the wearer’s own risk.
- We are not responsible for health issues arising from handling or ingesting flowers.
Farm Visits & Field Tours
- Visits to the flower field are by appointment only and are at your own risk.
- Our flower field is a working garden and may include uneven ground, mud, trip hazards, insects, farm tools, and wildlife.
- Children must be supervised at all times.
- Suitable footwear and clothing should be worn.
- We are not responsible for accidents, injuries, loss, or damage to personal property during visits, except where required by law.
- Visitors should inform us in advance of any allergies, mobility issues, or special requirements.
11. Photography & Marketing
- We may take photos of our flowers for marketing purposes.
- Clients will be referred to by first name and starting character of their surname only unless otherwise agreed.
- Please inform us if you prefer not to have images shared.
12. Exceptional Circumstances
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our control, including severe weather, illness, supply chain disruption, or natural disasters. We will make reasonable efforts to fulfil orders or offer suitable alternatives.
13. Wholesale Flowers
- Wholesale flowers are available to local florists, event professionals, and trainee florists at our discretion. We reserve the right to approve or decline wholesale accounts for any reason.
- Wholesale pricing is not guaranteed and may be withdrawn at any time with reasonable notice.
- A minimum monthly order value or volume may apply to maintain wholesale status. Failure to meet the minimum may result in removal of wholesale pricing.
- Availability lists are issued weekly and all orders are subject to availability and confirmation by email.
- Orders are confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis. An order is not considered placed until confirmed by us in writing.
- Payment is required by bank transfer or cash as agreed. Invoices must be paid within 48 hours unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate wholesale accounts for late payment, misuse of pricing, or breach of these Terms & Conditions.
- Wholesale customers must not resell Homestead Flowers products in a way that damages our brand or reputation. We reserve the right to terminate accounts for misuse of branding or misrepresentation which goes against our values.
14. Limitation of Liability
- Our liability is limited to the value of your order.
- We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses.
15. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
